What causes this??
1. Limited spacing for the birds.
2. Direct sunrays in the house.
3. Limited number of feeders and drinkers (survival for the fittest).
4. Methionine and mineral defficiency, which causes birds to eat feathers of other birds.
5. Inadequate feed, which may create idleness
Solutions:
1. Isolate the affected birds
2. Apply a colored wound spray on the wound. Do not put the bird back until it heals.
3. Block any sunrays getting into the house.
4. Use a well balanced feed formula, with enough minerals and methionine to avoid feather eating.
5. Do not debeak late.
6. Spacing improved.
